The Local Nepali Cuisine: Amazing Dhal Bhat

Patan, Nepal

Let me start by saying that Nepali food is amazing. It's not as spicy as Indian but has just as much variety. We'd love to cook you 3 or 4 dishes....It's usually dhal (lentils), a curry or two (meat and veg), brown or white rice, a pickle (radish pickle, tomato pickle) and something crunchy. If you've had dal bhat and you didn't really like it, I'm here to tell you that you haven't had good dhal bhat yet. Come eat with our friends and meet some very interesting people in Nepal!
